This sausage is originated from Taiwan and is widely loved by the locals here. Taiwan sausage meat is moderately fat and tender, with a smooth and slightly sweeter taste. It can be roasted, steamed or fried when eaten. It is a casual meat food suitable for various occasions. Heat a thin layer of cooking oil over low-medium heat in a frying pan. Cook the sausage on the frying pan until deep red/brown, about 10 minutes. Turn the heat to medium-high for the last minute of cooking to crisp the outside. Juicy with a slightly sweet and mild spiced flavour, the sausage can be served on a stick or sliced up and eaten with slices of raw garlic.
